Obituary

Erb, Bradley

November 23, 1960 ~ May 18, 2023

Bradley Erb (62) passed away May 18th peacefully surrounded by his wife and his girls.

Brad was born in Calgary Alberta, on November 23rd 1960 but quickly moved to Campbell River where he spent the majority of his childhood. It was here he met some of his best friends, began his love for athletics and passion for the outdoors. In his teen years, Brad moved to Winfield where he worked in the orchards, played basketball and drove fast cars.

Not long after high-school, Brad met the love of his life, Val. They married in 1990 and resided happily ever after in their Summerland home.

Brad was the proudest father to his two girls, supporting them in every dream they ever had. He taught them everything he had to offer, was a shoulder to cry on, a supportive ear to listen and the greatest adventure partner. He truly was the heart of the home and the best girl dad we could have ever hoped for.

Brad leaves behind his loving Wife Val, Daughters Cassie (Kyler) and Kylie and his beloved grand-FUR babies Tucker and Marvin. In addition to these close few, Brad truly loved his entire family and was honoured to be loved by you all.

In lieu of flowers please consider donating in Brads honour to Kids sport Summerland at  https://kidsportcanada.ca/britishcolumbia/summerland/

A celebration of life will be held at Brad and Val’s home on July 22nd 2023 where he would want us all to enjoy the beach. Please stop by, tell stories and celebrate the life of our incredible husband/dad between 1-5pm.

A true legend who will be missed by all.

We are so saddened and sending our healing prayers and embraces to you Val Cassie and Ky. This loss will be felt deep for a long time Know that you are surrounded by so many that love you all just because of the caring and kind and generous people you are. Brad was the definition of best team parent out there. He would do anything for them and the support was endless. Even outside of the sport Brad would drop whatever he was doing to step up to help. We miss him dearly.

Val and family my deepest sympathy on Brads passing. I remember him from high school and later from work as a kind man. A good man. He is missed.

From: Katie Byrne
Relation: A friend told me.

I am so sorry to hear about Brad’s passing. I graduated from high school with Brad in Winfield. I wish your whole family heartfelt condolences.

From: Bob Griffin
Relation: I met Brad in 1990 when I made my first business call on Arrow and we hit it off right away. I always enjoyed making those calls because they became more of a personal visit rather than business. Brad spoke highly of his family, he was proud of his daughters and loved them and his wife dearly.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Brads family, he had a though exterior but behind all that had a big heart of gold, will miss you dearly my friend.
