Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Chris Evans. Chris passed away at St. Paul’s hospital in Vancouver on Friday, January 1, 2020 at the age of 42 years. Chris leaves behind his father Ron and step-mother Audrey. Brother Jon, Sister Emily and step-sister Nicole. The family would like to thank everyone for all their prayers and kind words during these past few weeks while Chris fought for his life. Anyone who knew Chris, knew he was a kind hearted person who truly would give you the shirt off his back.  Always being the funny guy in the room, he took pleasure in his ability to make you smile and laugh with his great sense of humour. He had a mischievous side as well. Pushing the limits and trying to blame it all on himself or Emily. (Operation Rudolph or stealing Dad’s jeep for a joyride then moving the driver seat forward so Dad blamed Emily).  Growing up, Chris was great with his hands, working on vehicles and building things. Chris’ true passion for life was cars and everything to do with them.  Chris may be gone but he will not be forgotten.  He is in a better place now. No more pain and reunited with his mother Janet Swinton. Rest In Peace, Chris.
