Obituary
October 2, 1964 – April 10, 2024
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Christopher Darcy Kellahan at the age of 59.
Chris will be so incredibly missed by his loved ones. A husband, father, son, brother, grandpa, uncle, and friend.
He is forever remembered by Darcy, his loving wife of 12 years, together for 18. His kids Chase, Taylor (Tyler), Kylee, Logan, Sierra and Grandson Dante. His mother Barbara and 2 brothers, Tim (Nadia), and Steve (Lisa).
Pre-deceased by his father Darcy Vincent Kellahan.
He will be dearly missed by the rest of his family and friends.
Chris was born in Canada, living in his father’s home country, Australia at the age of 1 with his mom and dad before returning to Canada soon after. He worked with Fortis BC for over 33 years and was a very loved and respected coworker. Chris was a man of many passions- in his free time, he enjoyed dirt biking, snowboarding, hiking, side-by-siding and so much more.
For the last 2 years, Chris got to enjoy retirement life in Penticton, going on motorcycle rides with his wife Darcy, playing monster trucks with his grandson Dante, fixing up his side-by-side and many trips down to visit his family in Maple Ridge.
We know Chris felt so blessed to have such a loving family and was never happier than when we were spending time together.
There will be no service as per his wishes.
No words can express our loss. We will always love you.

Far too young. Miss your smiling face with endless adoration of the people you loved. Especially our get togethers and family events we happily shared as in laws. Such a great cook too, Lol, but man of many talents in your photography and crafts., and so much more. You saw the beauty in life.
There is a big gap in the world without you but taking comfort in the thought that we will meet again with a whole bunch to talk about. Laughing about all the similar journeys, the kids, grand kids and extended families. Looking forward to it our friend.
Proud of you and the legacy you left behind. Well done.
With tears and love, Floyd and Koriena Budd

So very sadddened to hear of Chris’s passing. We grew up together houses apart for so many years in Port Moody. He was always a good friend and even though life pulls people in different directions, time and time again we would run into each other on job sites and have a chance to shoot the breeze and talk of old times. So sorry to hear of this. Our deapest condolences from the entire Abramyk clan.
