From: Allie Arnst
Relation: Friend in Keremeos

Dorothy, our heartfelt condolences on the passing of your dear Colin. Even though we are far apart we often would think of you guys. I remember how you both loved music so much, and how Colin loved literature. He was a special guy. May his dear soul rest in peace. Hugs to you Dorothy. Allie Arnst and Jay Wouters.

From: Patrick G Comey
Relation: We Worked in Book Publishing Sales Business, as Friendly Rivals!

I am so very sorry to hear of the passing of our Dear Friend, & Colleague, Colin. I first met Colin “On-The-Road” in Powell River, at the Beach Gardens Resort & Marina, in the late 1980’s. We both looked at each other in the Parking Lot & Said : “What are YOU doing here?” No one traveled that far off the “Beaten Track”, but we did! Colin was Repping for Penguin Books then. We became Instant Friends, thoroughly enjoying each of other’s Irreverent Wit & Humour! In Recent Years we kept in touch on Facebook. My son Patrick & I dropped in for Lunch with Colin & Dorothy, at their Lovely Home, just North of Keremeos, on our way back from the Penticton Peach City Car Show, in late June 2019.. Many Stories & Laughs were shared. He was enjoying the Beauty of His Surroundings & Helping Out at the Local Winery! A Piece of Heaven-On-Earth! I’m sure that Colin has found his Rightful Place with Bacchus! My Thoughts & Deepest Sympathy go out to Dorothy & Family, knowing that Colin has found Eternal Peace.
