Darren Keith Maughan

Obituary
Darren Keith Maughan was born in Edmonton Alberta Feb. 15, 1983 and adopted by Blaine and Gloria Maughan shortly after, moving to Lake Country BC at the age of 3, passed away in Penticton BC Nov. 15, 2022 at the age of 39.
Darren spent grades 1 – 11 in Winfield BC and graduated from Tumbler Ridge High School in Tumbler Ridge BC. He played a lot of soccer but loved hockey where he played up to the junior B level. He enjoyed fishing with Dad on Babine Lake in Granisle BC. Darren’s work included diamond drilling where he had great adventures which he enjoyed, he also worked with landscaping and roofing in the Kelowna BC area.
With a infectious smile Darren loved life, no matter where we are or what we are doing his sweet spirit will always be with us. He will be sadly miss by his parents Blaine and Gloria Maughan, brother Tyler (Amber) three nephews Colby, Logan & Levi. Also survived by many beloved Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. Celebration of life to be announced at a later date.
