The family of David Edward Kampe August 16, 1941-May 8, 2019, is remembering his life. We are surrounded of reminders of his kind and caring nature, his love for his community and appreciation for home cooked food, fresh Okanagan fruits and vegetables, and love for being on the lake. As we loved you, so we miss you; and when we are at the lake we know we are with you. Missing David is his brother Victor and Kathleen Kampe, niece Vickie and Minas, nephew Todd and Anona, and 5 great nieces and nephews; many loyal friends, employees and colleagues. David’s legacy was philanthropy, he made many generous contributions to his beloved community over the years, in family entertainment, health care, local sports, and education. David believed in building the future through education. His generosity continues in the Penticton Secondary Schools Bursary and Scholarship Foundation.
