Our mom will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered for her kind heart, generous spirit and great love she had for her children, grandchildren, family, friends, and by the many lives she touched in all the care homes she was employed at over the last thirty years. Mom loved crosswords, crime shows, playing cards, music, and most of all time spent with friends and family. The family wishes to thank the Kelowna General Hospital ICU and 5B staff for your care of mom and our family. We are so grateful for your kindness and compassion. Thank you to her many friends who regularly visited with her while in hospital. Thank you also to Hospice House in Kelowna for caring for Mom in her final days.Celebration of Life to be held at a later date. The family requests those who wish to express sympathy consider making a donation to a charity such as Canadian Cancer Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation or any charity of your choice in Mom’s name.
Her Journey’s Just Begun -E. Brenneman Don’t think of her as gone away Her journey’s just begun Life holds so many facets This Earth is only one Just think of her as resting From the sorrow and the tears In a place of warmth and comfort Where there are no days and years Think how she must be wishing That we could know today How nothing but our sadness Can really pass away And think of her as living In the hearts of those she touched For nothing loved is ever lost And she was loved so muchCondolences
