Derek was a quiet man. I met him many years ago. He took a liking to our dog Louis. He even bought our dog a new dog dish, saying: this is a real dog bowl, that one is too small.
Just 3 years ago he joined our organization-Ethos Society, rented a room from us. He loved living in the old house in kelowna. We visited at least once a week. Sometimes hed help me go get groceries for the house.
His sister, Susan and her family, survives him. Im sending love and hugs to them. Derek is in a good place now.
