Obituary
Douglas Allen Keith Nendick passed away suddenly on Friday, November 12, 2021, at the age of 61 years in Princeton, British Columbia.
Doug was born in North Vancouver on August 7, 1960, to Kenneth and Marie Nendick. In his lifetime, he worked for his father cooking at the family restaurant and pub in Salmon Arm, working on the family property in Tappen and salvaging and making shake blocks on Harrison Lake and the Harrison River. Doug also worked as a cook, plumber and at the Nendick’s Campsite doing maintenance at various times throughout his life. Doug enjoyed reading, watching western movies, fishing and drinking beer. Doug loved his children.
Doug is survived by his daughters, Nicole and Amanda, son Allen, grandchildren Maddison and Hudson, brothers, Ken, Rod, Dean, Lloyd and Keith and mother, Marie, as well as numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and their families. Doug was predeceased by his father Ken.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects, a Memorial Service will held on Saturday, November 27, 2021 from 1:00 – 4:00pm at Kettle Valley Memorial located at 461 Dawson Avenue, Penticton, British Columbia.

I heard about Dougs passing yesterday!
I was flooded with emotions and memories, so many it kept me up all night and today! We were such good friends in our teenage years!! I am so glad that I tracked him down a few times over the years!! Gone too soon!! So glad we shared our friendship and experiences in our lives!!!
