Duarte Manuel Borba

Obituary

Duarte Manuel Borba of Summerland, British Columbia, husband of Susan Borba, passed away peacefully on October 1st, 2024, at the age of 73 years old. 

Duarte loved watching youth and junior hockey, talking to people, and sharing stories with friends. He was the first there if you were in need. His family meant everything to him, and he was loved by all. He will be missed.

Besides his loving wife, Susan Borba, Duarte is survived by his daughter, Christina Pagett, and son, Kevin Borba, along with his five grandchildren, Bailey Stroh, Aden Stroh, Will Pagett, Hunter Borba, and Knox Borba. Duarte was pre-deceased by his parents, Manuel and Maria Borba, along with his brother, Michael Borba.

A Celebration of Life take place on Saturday, October 19th, 2024, at 1 pm at 11411 Walker Avenue in Summerland, British Columbia. 

Please bring a lawn chair, dress for the weather, and join us with lots of stories to share.
