Obituary
With a smile on her face and her son by her side, Emelia Horaski (Pleshko) went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on June 13, 2019. Emelia was born in Poland on May 12, 1928 and immigrated to Canada in 1935, settling in Winnipeg, MB. In 1966, she married her love William, and they were together 48 years until his passing in 2015. Other than a recent brief period in Kelowna BC, she remained in Penticton after moving from Winnipeg in 1979. Emelia, who’s name means industrious, took joy in cooking and hosting, as well as finding countless ways to keep busy doing something, no matter how she may have been feeling. She is survived by her son Mark (Erin) and grandchildren Gabriel, Grace and Jayne, from Seattle WA. At her request, a private family graveside service will be held.
