We are sad to announce Florence’s sudden passing. Florence taught for 35 years in both Merritt and Quesnel. Upon retirement, she enjoyed playing bridge, travelling and taking wildlife photographs. Florence is survived by her loving husband Don, of 59 years. She is also survived by her sister Millie, nieces and nephews and many friends. There will be no service. Friends and family are invited to share a memory or leave a condolence by clicking the Tributes lcon.

Dear Don & family,
It was with deep sadness that we read of Florence’s passing, our very sincere condolences to you and the family.
We feel blessed to have had Florence came into our lives a few years ago as our kind, caring neighbour and loving cat sitter on a few occasions. We were so appreciative of her excellent cat care and the ‘daily diary’ she left for us.
We will miss her smiling hellos at the mailroom.
