Obituary

Gladys Watson, known as Pam by family & friends, passed away peacefully on November 23, 2021 at Moog & Friends Hospice House in Penticton at the age of 100. Pam was born June 6, 1921 in Kings Lynn, England. Pam married Alan Watson who was in the RAF and she travelled to various locations around the world including Germany, Aden (Yemen), Khartoum, Singapore and many parts of England and Scotland. She was widowed in 1985 and came to live in Nova Scotia in 1997 and moved to Penticton in 2014. Pam was very active in politics and was a member of the Conservative Party of the UK, she was also a member of the Eastern Star, Beta Sigma Phi International Women's Sorority, the Red Cross and later in life the Red Hat’s Society. Pam was an active volunteer in all the communities she lived in. Preceded in death by Alan Watson (d1985) Pam is survived by her 3 children: Sandra Ross (Clive). Lesley Martin (Sean). Barrie Watson (Patty). Grandchildren: Lesley Ross, Ian Martin (Julie) Fiona Ross and Thomas Watson. Great Grandchildren: Richard Kennedy, Rebeka Kennedy, Mikayla Peterson. Great, Great Grandchildren: William Dyck and Eloise Dyck. A celebration of her life will be held on Sunday December 12, 2021 between 1-3pm at Kettle Valley Memorial 461 Dawson Avenue, Penticton 

In lieu of flowers the family asks to donate to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Kidney Foundation.

We are so sorry to hear of Pams passing. She was a neighbour and a good friend to many of us while she lived in Greenwood N S. She joined our sorority chapter Beta Sigma Phi ETA Master Chapter and we enjoyed many great times with her in attendance. Our sincere condolences to her family.
