Griff was the light of the camp. When we were up on the mountain building pads you were always hoping it was Griff coming to pick you up. He was an absolute gem to work with and would always have good banter and boost moral on the way back to camp after a bad day on the hill. He has taught me many things from tips about aviation careers to the value of family. When I saw Griff last. He was anxious to get out of camp to reunite with his wife who was pregnant at the time with his first kid. He was so excited to be a father. If he wasn’t talking about things he would do as a dad he was talking about how once he gets out of camp he has to install the new windows in his place to keep the wife happy. Griff, you were truly a big influence in my life and I’m gutted we won’t have the chance to share the front seats in a heli again. You’ll be missed dearly. Thanks for all the memories and the guidance you brought to my life. Rest easy my friend

Griff is a wonderful addition to our family I will not say was as he will always be a part of us. His quick smile sarcastic humour. How proud Tom is of Son. There are no words to express to all of his family the loss but please know Griff will always be in our hearts.
