Obituary
Hank Lenters of Penticton, BC, beloved husband of Sylvia Lenters, passed away peacefully on July 16, 2022, at the age of 87 years.
Hank was born in Holland in 1935. He emigrated with his family to Canada in 1954. He met his wife Sylvia, in Edmonton and they were happily married for 63 years. Seventeen years and two children later, they moved their family to Kaleden for 39 years.
Hank owned a successful kitchen design company. He put many kitchens in homes and businesses throughout the valley. He enjoyed woodworking, biking, skiing, gardening, and watching all his grandchildren learn to swim in his pool. He volunteered several years for Iron Man and Fest of Ale. Hank enjoyed watching people have a good time! He spent seven years in Penticton at Cherry Lane Towers, where he met a new community of people.
Besides his loving wife Sylvia, Hank is survived by his daughter Anda (Rollie) Clement, son Dan (Linda) Lenters, grandchildren Brandon, Kelsie, Taylor, Michelle and Renee, great grandchildren Damian and Elliott, brother Rob (Joyce) van den Elst, brothers-in-law Tom Gras, Ray Buffel, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and their families. Hank will be sadly missed by all.
Hank was predeceased by his stepbrother Bill van den Elst, sisters Ria Lenters, Nel Gras and sister-in-law Roxy Buffel.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Hank, Saturday, August 6, 2022 from 1-4pm at Hyde Park recreation room, 2275 Atkinson Street, Penticton, BC.

My memories of Hank … there are so many. We all had such a great time when we got together either in Edmonton, Kaleden or Calgary. I know he will be greatly missed by all.
