Dear Karla, Tanis, Elaine, Al and all Helen Joan’s nieces, nephews and our cousins. It’s hard to lose a Mom and Sister at any age but it’s very difficult to say goodbye to Helen Joan. She battled on with illnesses but was a tough Gunning girl. In the end, she had to let go to join her loving husband Dwight. Our family lived in Manitoba and so it wasn’t often that we saw the BC cousins but if they came to Manitoba or we made a trip to BC, there was lots of excitement. As we married and had our own families, visits to BC became more rare. It’s with a great deal of sadness that Larry and I, as well as the rest of our families, send our deepest love and most sincere condolences to all of little Helen’s family. God bless you dear Helen.
