Lou was born November 6, 1947, in Birtle, Manitoba, to parents Amie and Martha Hudon of Macaulay, Manitoba.
Lou is survived by her loving Husband Bruce, her sons John Allan and Neil Owen, Her Grandchildren Danielle, Isabella Patricia, and Madeline Louise, Her brothers Amie and Brian, and her Sisters, Roberta, Betty Ann and Jackie.
Lou is predeceased by her Brothers Art and Frank and also a special mention to nieces; Teresa and Belinda.
Lou excelled at school, graduating at 17 years old. Completing grade 12 plus commercial in Birtle, Manitoba, Lou had to have her dad sign for her first job at the Bank of Montreal, being under 18.
Lou and Bruce had a short romance and got married on April 28th,1967. Bruce asked Lou why she married him and she said he smacked of adventure. Lou and Bruce moved to B.C., bought a commercial fishing boat on the west coast of Vancouver Island. Lou worked at the Bank of Montreal in Alberni in the Winters.
Lou and Bruce returned to Manitoba in 1969 to build a commercial beekeeping operation. Lou and Bruce built Bertram Honey Co. and Bertram Manufacturing Inc. They sold and retired to B.C. in 2004.
