Obituary
Karen Margaret Haynes of Penticton, BC, passed away peacefully on June 8th 2022, at the age of 64. Karen was born in Calgary, Alberta on April 3rd, 1958 to parents Robert Nason Haynes and Irene Violet Haynes (nee Ross).
She was the second eldest child of 5 -Elder brothers Patrick (Karen), Mike (Carrie) and younger sisters, Kathy (Blair) and Susan (Steve).
Karen is survived by her children; Ceoral (Nick), Latisha, Murdine, Nason and Grandchildren- Toni, Aimee and Kiyarron.
Karen was predeceased by her parents, Robert and Irene, her second eldest daughter, Pamela Dawn and the love of her life, Tom.
Despite the struggles she endured, Karen never lost her sharp wit, her infectious laugh and unwavering sense of humor.

You’re in the arms of the angel-May you find some comfort here.
Mother, you were just a girl,
So many years ago.
You had your loves and had your dreams,
You watched us come and go.
You watched us make the same mistakes,
That you had made before,
But that just made you hold us tight,
And love us all the more.
We haven’t always thought about
The things that you have seen.
To us you’ve just been ‘Mother’,
No thought of who you’ve been.
But we remember now in love,
Your life from start to end,
And we’re just glad we knew you,
As Mother, and as Friend.
