Obituary
It is with much sadness, that we announce the passing of our dear aunt Marie-José Schmitt. From her early life in Germany, to her later life in Prince George and then here in Kelowna, José was always very social and fun loving. Friends and family were very important to her. She was extremely generous, loving and always helpful. José was someone we could count on. During her last difficult month, her niece Angelika and husband Rocky, were by her side. Other family and her dearest friends called her daily. José was touched by everyone’s loving concern and was also amazed with the wonderful nursing care she received. We would like to express our deepest gratitude to all the healthcare workers at Kelowna General, Cottonwoods Care Centre, and Kelowna Hospice House for taking such excellent care of our aunt.
José is now with her sweetheart Joe and in our hearts forever.
