So sorry for your loss. Both Marg and Bill were clients of mine and I will miss Marg especially. We had so many great visits over coffee in my Salon. Loved hearing about their travels and adventures.

I would see Bill every three months when it was time to look after pest control in their building. Bill took time to walk with me as we did an inspection. Such an easy man to like, it was always a call I always looked forward to. We talked often about their travel plans and I know their love of travel and exploration kept them young at heart.
I met Margaret once, I knew Bill about 3 years. Having worked for Orkin Canada the last ten years, I retired in early June of this year. My last call was saved for Clarence House because it just seemed right. I bought him a box of Timmies, shook his hand and thanked him for always being good to me. Just a sweetheart of a guy, and I am sure his missus was the same.
I am very saddened to hear this news and feel a deep personal loss. Perhaps odd for someone one sees every few months, but he made an impression on me. To all their family, friends, people who may have known them in passing, I am with you and wish you all well.

Condolences to the family. Margaret was a special person who had a real kind heart. Bill loved to tease me whenever I called them & always got Rhubarb from me. Margaret & I shared many lunches together. I especially want to mention how she loved Holly. I wish i could have met her daughter. God bless their souls. I will miss them.

The members of the Soupateria Board and fellow volunteers express our condolences to the family of Bill and Margaret. Bill served for many years as a volunteer at Soupateria, both in the kitchen and on our Board. His humour and caring nature were appreciated by fellow workers and our clientele alike. Bill and Margaret will be missed in our community.
With sincere condolences, Lauraine Bailie, Penticton Soupateria Society.

My sincere sympathy to Holly…I met her once as a little girl.  Margaret and I go back 70 years…we were childhood friends; my mother and her parents were young people together…all in North Vancouver.  Also, Barbara Hollick-Kenyon of North Vanc. was a very close friend of Marg’s since they were in their 20’s….this event was a terrible shock to us both.
We send our love and prayers to you Holly, and all the family.
