Obituary
It is with great sadness, we announce the passing of Ofelia Ploner, wife, mother and grandmother. She was predeceased by her parents Magdalena and Santiago Espinas, sister professor Clementine Espinas and brothers, Ambassador Terry Espinas, Dr. Epifania Espinas and Dr. Oscar Espinas. She is survived by her loving husband Erwin, sons Chris(Allison) and Mark(Laura), granddaughters Abagale, Olivia, Keira and MacKenzie and brother Rogelio Espinas. Ofelia graduated from the University of the Philippines with a Bachelor of Science. She was the first of the family to emigrate. She received her Master of Science from Cornell University and went on to work over 20 years as a dietician at the Penticton Regional Hospital. There will be a private family service at a later date.
