I remember when I first met Phillip, he was wearing sunglasses and longish hair, he reminded me so much of Johnny Depp I started calling him JD. Rest in your peace my friend, you will be remembered with much fondness ❤️

I remember when I was learning to longboard, whenever the group went out and tried a hill I had never done before, Phil always seemed to be nearby so if I fell I wasn’t alone while the group continued on.

I met Phil back in Penticton secondary. Immediately he and I became friends, years later a friendship turned into roommates and almost step brothers. Phil was always the light of any group. A leader and the one to make the most sense. It pains me a lot to hear of my friends passing. He and I may have lost touch the past 8 or 9 years cause I had moved to the valley. He gave me a lot of good memories and I will never forget my best friend. Rest In Peace
