Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Robert. From a young age Robert was a great ball player, talented musician and artist, and had a passion for the outdoors. Throughout life, he loved the peace and solitude of being in nature; fishing and camping being some of his favourite hobbies. Extremely intelligent, Robert was a walking encyclopedia of facts and knowledge; he could hold a conversation with anybody on any topic. Robert was a hard-worker and he loved to drive which led him to purchasing his own semi-truck as a young man. His career as a driver, took him to many places across North America. Robert was compassionate, loyal to the core, and humble; he would be the first to jump into action to help a friend or family member in need. He had a great laugh, beautiful eyes the colour of tropical waters, a strong spirit, he adored his grandchildren, and he loved to live life. He will be dearly missed by his daughter, Jackie and his grandkids – Phoenix and Quinn, his siblings – Charlene, Trena, Lisa, David, Cindy and Rod, as well as his extended family of nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends. The family finds comfort knowing Robert is with the Lord and has joined the loving arms and endless good times with his Mom – Jean (and step-father, Bill), his Dad – Bob (and step-mother, Audrey), sister – Jeannie, and other family members.
Always in our hearts. We love you and we miss you, Robert!

I am going to miss you tremendously Robert. We sure had some great discussions on the phone. We covered many topics. The more we talked the more we started agreeing on most issues. You always amazed me with all your research on our topics. Most times we agreed but sometimes we respectfully disagreed. Bobby got to know you later on from our lengthy discussions and you two became good friends.
I’m really, really going to miss you Robert. I know Charlene will especially miss not having you around. I will always be thinking of you as time goes by. You will never be forgotten. I’ll see you again one day. Love you Big Brother!
