Obituary
Robert (Bob) Oben of Penticton, beloved husband of Laura, passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness on July 23, 2021 at the age of 83 years, surrounded by the love of his family. Besides Laura, his wife of 65 years, he is survived by his daughter, Eileen and son-in-law, Bob Kester of Penticton B.C., and his son, Steve Oben of Houston, B.C. as well as his grandchildren Dallas Oben of Smithers B.C, Nicole Oben of Houston, B.C. and Andrew Kester of Chilliwack, B.C. He was predeceased by his parents William and Beatrice Oben and his brother William (Bill) Oben Jr. Bob was born and lived in the Greater Vancouver area. He moved to Summerland in 2005. His interests included Camping, fishing and traveling. He will be greatly missed.
