Rocky Verne Royer

Obituary
Rocky Verne Royer, born on March 26, 1961 in Kelowna BC, passed away on April 21, 2024 in Oliver BC. Rocky was a highway man; he spent his life traveling up and down the highways in BC and Alberta. Moving around was what Rocky did, even if he spent a summer in a tent or his vehicle, while picking cherries and other fruits around the Okanagan. Rocky had many skills that made him a jack of all trades and a master of none. Those who knew Rocky just know the character he was.
Rocky was predeceased by his parents, Kathleen Galley (nee Taylor), Joseph Royer and three brothers Robin, Patrick, and Lawrence Galley. Rocky is survived by his two brothers Mike Galley (Joyce) and Jamie Galley (Lynne), sister Tracy Blackwood (nee Royer), son Trevor Royer, many nieces and nephews and many, many friends. Rocky will be missed dearly by those who knew him. Take the time to drive down a dirt road, listen to good tunes, visit and help family and friends, because that’s what Rocky would do. There will be no funeral; in lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

Only have a few memories of uncle Rocky’s but all the ones I have are good ❤️ I wish I got to know you more as an adult but as a kid you were the best uncle ❤️
