Rose Sophie Sullivan
September 9, 1935 - January 6, 2022
Obituary
Rose Sophie Sullivan of Penticton, passed away suddenly on January 6th at the age of 86. Beloved mother, grandmother and friend, she will be greatly missed. She is survived by her daughter, Gail Young (grandsons Keith and Mike) and her son, Don Sullivan (wife and grandchildren).
Rose was born in Sedley, Saskatchewan, the youngest of nine children. She was the last surviving member of her siblings, predeceased by her brother Peter Wagner, one year ago.
Rose worked at the Penticton Regional Hospital starting in 1969, first as a Dietary Aide and then she spent many enjoyable years as the Physio Aide in the Physical Therapy Department.
After Rose retired, she was able to move closer to Okanagan Lake, where she enjoyed walking along, as well as all around the town, regardless of the weather.
A small family memorial will be held at a later date.

I am so very sad to read you are gone Rose. So very very sad. I always loved running into you as you were always so cheerful and upbeat and you were an avid walker like me. I’m glad I got to see you in December and we did the fake, from a distance, Covid hug. To Rose’s family, please accept my sincerest condolences. Rose was a very special lady and I’m sure you will miss her like crazy. Take good care.
